Toyo Engineering Corp. and Daewoo Nigeria Ltd. have been chosen to build an ammonia and urea plant in Rivers state Nigeria.
The facility, the largest awarded by Indorama Eleme Fertilizer and Chemicals Ltd., will be built at the existing Indorama Eleme Petrochemicals complex at Port Harcourt, River state, Nigeria. It is scheduled to be operational by the last quarter of 2015.
The plant will have a daily production capacity of 2,300 tons of ammonia and 4,000 tons of granulated urea from natural gas feedstock.
This Project will create more than 1000 jos in the state.
