At least 4 dead in Moscow airport plane crash

Four people have died in a plane crash at Moscow’s Vnukovo Airport after the aircraft skidded off the runway as it tried to land.
The Tupolev-204, operated by low-cost Russian carrier Red Wings, was carrying 8 people – all crew. Three of the four people injured are said to be in a critical condition, and two of the four dead are believed to be the pilot and co-pilot.
The plane broke into three pieces and caught fire as it hit the runway hard at around four thirty in the afternoon local time. Part of the wreckage is on the Kiev highway.
The flight arrived from the Czech Republic, but no Czech nationals were on board.
Russia’s Emergency Situations Ministry has confirmed the plane had to make a forced landing, and it crashed on its second attempt.
Russia’s Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev has ordered a special investigation into the accident.
Red Wings specialises in charter flights to Russia and Europe. The company is the largest buyer of Russian-made Tupolev-204 aeroplanes.

AN OPEN LETTER TO ALL MEN

Letter From Tenny Gee to all Men.

My heart goes out to those guys who sincerely put their hearts in a relationship and had it broken. (Thankfully the heart is more durable than a teacup or saucer).

But frankly, the person you choose to date is a mirror of who you are. So ? I think you should work on becoming the kind of person you would want to date/marry. Values have no sexual orientation you know.

Secondly and of equal importance; consider deleting the myth that all women are the same (cheats) from your subconscious mind because it is not true. Besides that mentality will just keep you in the cycle of getting the ‘bad eggs’. There are many good (not perfect) women out there; at least I know some but the question is would one be confident to introduce them to you? Consider changing your ‘style’ in the coming year... :)

Cristiano

Sometimes, I forget that I’m staring at the Most expensive footballer on planet earth.

From a young age, Cristiano Ronaldo’s driven and competitive nature was very apparent and made him standout.

It is said that while Ronaldo was at Sporting Lisbon’s Academy as a teenager, He would train in the gym using weights on either foot to dribble with the ball. He thought it would improve his technique because without weights he would be even faster.

Pope Benedict Condemns gay marriage in annual Christmas message

Pope Benedict used his annual Christmas message to denounce gay marriage, saying that it destroyed the “essence of the human creature.”

In one of his most important speeches of the year, the Pope stressed that a person’s gender identity is God-given and unchangeable. As a result, he sees gay marriage as a “manipulation of nature.”
"People dispute the idea that they have a nature, given to them by their bodily identity, which serves as a defining element of the human being," he said at the Vatican on Friday. "They deny their nature and decide that it is not something previously given to them, but that they make it for themselves."

The Pope has said that gay marriage, like abortion and euthanasia, is a threat to world peace.

What do you think about this…..

ALUU4: Absence of 3 Fresh Suspects Stalls Trial

The trial of the 13 persons accused of the murder of four students of the University of Port Harcourt (UNIPORT) on October 5 was Thursday stalled due to the failure of prisons officials to produce them in court.
This came as the police arraigned three more persons for the murder of the students.
The three new suspects arraigned were Finebone Jeffrey (23), Joshua Ekpe (27), and Abang Cyril (27).
The police had earlier arraigned the 13 persons on October 17 before a Port Harcourt Chief Magistrates Court on a five-count charge of conspiracy and murder. Those arraigned included the 59-year-old traditional ruler of Omuokiri village, Alhaji Hassan Welewa; an ex-police sergeant, Lucky Orji; and the only female, 24-year-old Cynthia Chinwo.
At the resumed hearing which started at about 10:15a.m. Thursday, the prosecutor, Sergeant Aaron Nsirem, told the court that the accused persons were in the court cell, but could not be brought in because of shortage of prisons personnel. How embarrassing ***SMH.....

Facebook Tests $1 Fee for Messages to Non-Friends

Hey Guys, Opened this Link Via twitter and I felt I should Share Please Read and kindly drop your Comments.
Facebook says it is testing a service that will charge users $1 to guarantee that messages they send to people they are not connected to arrive in users’ inboxes, rather than in an often-ignored folder called “other.”
Launched in 2011, the “other” folder is where Facebook routes messages it deems less relevant. Not quite spam, these include messages from people you most likely don’t know, based on Facebook’s reading of your social connections. Many users ignore this folder......

Business ready-to-go as N4.99trn 2013 budget is passed

Source: Business Day
The National Assembly has approved that the Federal Government spend N4.99 trillion in 2013. This is N63 billion more than the N4.924 trillion proposed by President Goodluck Jonathan earlier in the year.
It is a rare occurrence  since the advent of democracy in 1999 that the nation’s budget will be passed before the end of the year. It means that for the first time, the Federal Government  is in a position to start spending from the budget  from January 1, if President Jonathan assents to the bill by year-end.
Analysts say this could impact positively on the implementation of the budget in 2013 leading to better project planning and execution.

S Korea new Leader puts security first (First Female President)

Incoming president Park Geun-Hye, basking in her election as South Korea’s first female leader, promised Thursday to stand tough on national security despite seeking engagement with North Korea.

In her first policy address since her historic win on Wednesday, Park stressed the “grave” security threat posed by the North as underscored by last week’s rocket launch. She also pledged to work for regional stability in Northeast Asia where South Korea, China and Japan are engaged in a series of bitter territorial disputes. “The launch of North Korea’s long-range missile symbolically showed how grave the security situation facing us is,” Park said. “I will keep the promise I made to you to open a new era on the Korean peninsula, based on strong security and trust-based diplomacy,” she added. During her campaign, Park had distanced herself from the hardline policy of outgoing President Lee Myung-Bak who suspended major humanitarian aid to the North. Park had promised a dual policy of greater engagement and “robust deterrence”, and had not ruled out a summit with the North’s young leader Kim Jong-Un, who came to power a year ago. Analysts say she will be restricted by hawks in her ruling conservative New Frontier Party, as well as an international community intent on punishing the North for what it saw as a disguised ballistic missile test.

Great show of Control.... I love her already..

Fire Razes Part of Lagos International Airport

There was a mild drama early today at the Murtala Mohammed International Airport (MMIA), Lagos when fire gulped a part of the terminal building presently under reconstruction.

The fire, which broke out at the D- Wing of the terminal, started at exactly 11:30am and disrupted the ongoing construction work at the airport for some   hours.
The fire outbreak occurred when the contracting firm was doing some welding work at the terminal.
It took the intervention of fire fighters of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) before the fire could be put out.
A part of the barricaded building had to be broken before the fire tenders of FAAN could gain access to the terminal.

What Could be the real Cause of the Fire, Who is to be blamed for such carelessness if i can call it that.

KOBI OKOYE: TIME RUNNING OUT FOR THIS MAGICIAN.

It was when Zlatan ibrahimovic transferred to Inter Milan in 2006 that he acquired the name “Ibracadabra”.

That Rhymes with what a magician would say when he pulls a rabbit out of the hat.

But Zlatan doesn’t pull rabbits; he pulls controversy, pulls criticism, pulls admiration and pulls league title’s…He doesn’t pull the Champions league though.
