Nigeria Threaten FIFA Shola Sanction

The Shola Ameobi African Nations fiasco has taken another twist. Our the NFF(Nigerian Football Federation) is threatening to bring FIFA in if they don’t get their man.
Chris Green, a committee member of the Nigerian Football Federation, said;
“It’s a big joke, our position hasn’t changed.We have a pre-tournament camp where everyone selected must turn up. If any clubs are bent on holding on to the players then we will have no choice but to report them to FIFA.Then the appropriate sanctions can be taken”.

The public ‘debate’ had seen Alan Pardew originally announce;
“Shola won’t be going. The national team manager knows the reasons, which I am keeping to myself”.Only to be met with the following from Stephen Keshi, Nigeria’s coach;
“I never entered into any deal with any manager and will not because the two (Daniel Shittu of Millwall is the other player where there is a dispute) players in question are international stars and the rules are very clear about when they should be released for international assignments if their country so desires them”.
The one thing that cannot be disputed is that surely Newcastle United should have sorted this out long ago with the NFF, allowing them to plan accordingly.

  3. I believe what you published was actually very reasonable.

    However, what about this? what if you added a little content?

    I mean, I don't wish to tell you how to run your blog, but suppose you added something that makes people desire more? I mean "Nigeria Threaten FIFA Shola Sanction" is kinda boring. You should look at Yahoo's front
    page and watch how they write article titles to grab viewers to click.
    You might add a related video or a picture or two to grab people excited about everything've got to say. In my opinion, it could bring your posts a little livelier.
