Fire Razes Part of Lagos International Airport

There was a mild drama early today at the Murtala Mohammed International Airport (MMIA), Lagos when fire gulped a part of the terminal building presently under reconstruction.

The fire, which broke out at the D- Wing of the terminal, started at exactly 11:30am and disrupted the ongoing construction work at the airport for some   hours.
The fire outbreak occurred when the contracting firm was doing some welding work at the terminal.
It took the intervention of fire fighters of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) before the fire could be put out.
A part of the barricaded building had to be broken before the fire tenders of FAAN could gain access to the terminal.

What Could be the real Cause of the Fire, Who is to be blamed for such carelessness if i can call it that.
