Sterling Bank Launches Rent-A-Month scheme to tackles rent problem

I will say this is good news for those who hustle out their rent monthly as Sterling Bank and RSL Derivatives have introduced Rent-A-Month scheme, a lending facility designed to help individuals solve rent problem.

“This scheme creates an opportunity for prospective and existing tenants who belong to the working class and self-employed professionals to access rent finance and pay on a monthly basis over a maximum period of two  years”, said Abubkakar Suleiman.
He spoke at the media launching of the scheme on Wednesday at the Bank’s head office in Lagos. He said, “As we are all aware, rent in Lagos is always paid in advance, either for a year or two. For some tenants, it is difficult to raise the rent amount when it is due.  The Rent-a-Month scheme enables eligible individuals solve their rent problem by taking a facility for the tenor of the rent, which they can now repay on a monthly basis, thus making house rent convenient and affordable.”
Now guys this products starts in Lagos and hopefully it will get to Port Harcourt.
What  do you think about this Scheme Guys, Would it help make life easier for the Working Class??

Market may soon be over for manufacturers and suppliers of energy drinks in Nigeria as the House of Representatives on Thursday in a move to ban the importation of energy drinks in the country  mandated its Committee on Health and Commerce to conduct an investigation into the importation, distribution, sales and health implication of all brands of caffeinated energy drinks in Nigeria.

Residents of Rivers State have sued for the full implementation of 2013 budget that was passed on Thursday by the Rivers State House of Assembly to better living condition of the people living in the state.

They said there should be a marked difference in the implementation of this year’s budget compared to what was experienced in the previous years where most projects and provision of social amenities though budgeted for, were not accorded concerted attention to offer the hope of their completion soon.

While requesting that wastage in the budget implementation process should be curtailed, they expressed the hope that government would create the required environment to encourage the growth of business capable of engaging the teeming unemployed youths in the state.

Lance Armstrong Admits Doping on Opera's Interview last Night (watch Video)

Key quotes from Oprah interview

Why admit it now?
I don't know that I have a great answer. I will start my answer by saying that this is too late. It's too late for probably most people, and that's my fault. I viewed this situation as one big lie that I repeated a lot of times, and as you said, it wasn't as if I just said no and I moved off it
Could the Tour de France be won without doping?
Not in that generation, and I'm not here to talk about others in that generation. It's been well-documented. I didn't invent the culture, but I didn't try to stop the culture, and that's my mistake, and that's what I have to be sorry for, and that's what something and the sport is now paying the price because of that.
