NMA: PATIENTS WITHDRAW FROM PUBLIC HOSPITALS AS NMA STRIKE STARTS.

The nationwide industrial action  embarked  on by the Nigeria Medical Association (NMA) took its toll in the  healthcare centers in  Rivers Sate as relatives of patients across public hospitals  Tuesday had hectic time evacuating their loved ones to private clinics as doctors in the state complied with the directive to join the  strike.

At the university of Port Harcourt Teaching Hospital (UPTH) today, families of patients were seen seen moving them to private clinics as a result of the nation wide strike of the NMA.

This same doctors striking now have there own private hospitals which will be populated as a result of the strike.
We pray no one dies as a result of the strike.
