Gov Amaechi’s aide shot in Port Harcourt
Rivers State Commissioner of Sports, Hon. Fred Igwe was said to have been shot on Tuesday by yet to be identified gunmen at Eleme interchange in the port harcourt. Hon Igwe who was returning from Eleme, his home town was attacked around Akpajo axis of the area which is just before Port Harcourt metropolis. It was gathered that his vehicle was badly raided with bullets. The commissioner is currently receiving treatments in an undisclosed hospital, though his condition is being shrouded in secrecy. However, a source who spoke in anonymity said the incident may not be politically motivated. “I know Igwe is on the Governor Rotimi Chibuike Amaechi side of the divide, but I sincerely do not think that this incident has anything to do with politics. “I do not believe the political situation in the state has reached that point of attempted assassinations. I rather think that it may be a case of armed robbery or a case of disgruntled people who felt shortchanged after the recent sign on fees payment to Sharks, Dolphins and Rivers Angels trying to get back at him”, the source said. When contacted, spokesperson of the Rivers State Police Command, Angela Agabe, confirmed the incident, saying: “I can confirm it is true. We got the report and the police are on the trail of the perpetrators”. Fred Igwe was among the 14 commissioners expelled from the Felix Obuah-led Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Rivers State for failing to appear before the performance evaluation committee of the party and for alleged anti-party activities - THE TIDE

Watching the special one from the side lines, you can tell that
he could influence anything. Even a player to change his mind after medicals,
breaking the other teams heart.... Hehehehe
Tottenham appeared well placed to sign the Anzhi
Makhachkala forward after he completed a medical, but Chelsea now appear
to be calling the Shots as far as this deal is concern.
"I think he's already
made his decision," Mourinho said.
The self-styled 'Special One' nodded in the affirmative when
asked if that was Chelsea.
He added: "I don't like to speak before time because
football can be crazy.
"I know what the player wants, so in this moment we
cannot hide. That is a possibility."
Mourinho added that he preferred smaller squads "with 22 players", hinting that some players would lead.

I can't wait to work with him."
The film will bring Batman and Superman together for the first time on the big screen, and will also bring back "Man of Steel" stars Amy Adams, Laurence Fishburne and Diane Lane.
